How it works

From checkout to your first collar,
in three steps

1

Download

Checkout once and the link arrives in seconds, on the confirmation page and by email: 100 patterns and 2 bonuses, ready to open.

2

Print at home

Any home printer, A4 or US Letter. Templates print at true 1:1: check the ruler on the page, then cut.

3

Sew your first collar

Open P001 and follow the 7-step path. The cutting sheet gives every length, so nothing is guessed.

Bonus 1 · The calculator

Type the neck measurement. Read every cut length.

The Size, Cut & Cord Calculator is for the dog that sits between two sizes, or the length the chart doesn't cover. Change one number and every figure updates.

Any neck measurement in, every cut length out, for all fabric collars

A cord calculator for paracord and macramé, which follow different maths from fabric

A bow calculator that turns any finished bow size into its cutting sizes

Bonus 2 · The handbook

When a seam goes wrong, the fix is already written down.

The Collar & Leash Construction Handbook: 46 pages that explain each technique once, properly, instead of a hundred times in a hurry.

12 chapters, from the box stitch and hardware to leashes, breakaway collars, embroidery and knots

Troubleshooting in every chapter: what went wrong, why, and whether it can be rescued

Which fabrics survive a dog's neck and which fail, with needles, thread and machine settings

Then it's four steps

1

Measure the neck

At the base, where the collar sits. No soft tape? Print the paper one from the templates.

2

Pick a design, note its code

Start with P001, the reference build every other fabric collar grows from.

3

Cut what the sheet says

Every piece to the listed length. On the line between two sizes, take the larger.

4

Sew, pull-test, fit

Box stitches through every layer, welded D-rings, a hard pull before the first walk, two fingers under the collar.

Why a pattern bundle

Free tutorials give you ideas. This gives you the numbers.

Most wasted fabric comes from one missing measurement: a strap that won't go through the buckle, a collar that slips over the head.

Questions

Before you download

Is this a physical product?

No. It's a digital download: PDF files and an Excel spreadsheet, in English. Nothing is shipped, and fabric, webbing and hardware are not included.

I've never made a collar. Where do I start?

If you can sew a straight line on a machine, start with the Classic Adjustable Fabric Collar (P001), the reference build, and follow the 7-step path in the start guide. The advanced patterns are there when you're ready.

What paper and units does it use?

Everything prints at home on A4 or US Letter, and every measurement is in both centimetres and inches. Print the templates at 100% and check the ruler on the page before you cut.

Are the cat collars safe?

The 12 cat patterns are built around a commercial breakaway buckle sold for cats, designed to release if the collar catches on something. The handbook explains why you never add a webbing core or attach a leash to them.

Can I sell the collars I make?

Yes, you can sell the finished collars and leashes you sew. The pattern files themselves are for your own use and can't be shared or resold.

How do I get the files?

Right after checkout you get a download link on the confirmation page and by email. Open the start guide first: it tells you which file to use and when. The spreadsheet also works in Numbers and Google Sheets.
